BIM Project Manager

Swissbim*, Geneva, Switzerland – (Jan 2023 - Present)*

• Direct responsibility for 15 BIM projects for various customers in Switzerland and Luxembourg, working with a variety of profiles : general contractors, architects, municipalities, international organizations and property owners.
• Handled BIM Management, BIM strategy consulting, BIM coordination, interoperability issues, georeferencing, meetings, customer support, project management, pricing and planning… and a bit of BIM modelling when the team need some help.
• Improved internal procedures to maximize efficiency and quality :
  • Developed a procedure for improving and controlling the quality of internally produced BIM models.
  • Implemented a template for systematic and structured project planning with clear performance metrics.
• Collaborated with government entities to develop building permit with BIM in Geneva.
• Ran an internal technology watch channel, sharing an average of 4 updates per month.
• Performed coaching and mentoring of junior team members and interns leading to one recruitment in my first six months.

Site Engineer & Planner

Steiner Construction SA, Lausanne, Switzerland – (April 2022 - August 2022)

• Managed 20 subcontractors on site to ensure that the project was delivered on time, on budget and with quality thanks to clear communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Authored a thesis on Lean management and digitalization in the construction sector, leading to a 50-page report. Highlighted the challenges of transition through digitalization and project optimization.
• Responsible for the successful implementation of a new digital planning process within the team.
